1. Data controller

ACERLO, located in Santa Catarina, Nuevo León, Mexico, is responsible for the personal data it receives through acerlo.com.mx. For any privacy matter, email us at ventas@acerlo.com.mx or call us at +52 81 4006 3055.

2. What data we receive

Data you give us. When you request a quote: name, company, phone number, email, product of interest, and a description of your operation, plus any drawing or photo you choose to attach. When you subscribe to the newsletter: your email address. If you contact us by email, phone, or WhatsApp, the data you share through that channel.

Data you type into the virtual assistant. If you use the chat in the bottom right corner, we keep the conversation and any data you choose to give us there, such as your name, company, email, or phone number.

Data recorded while you browse. Pages viewed, referring page, device type and browser, language, approximate city, and clicks on the contact buttons. This measurement does not read what you type in the form, and your IP address is not stored.

We do not ask for sensitive data (health, biometric, financial, or beliefs). Please do not include it in your message, in the chat, or in the files you attach.

3. What we use it for

• Primary purposes: preparing and sending you the quote you requested, answering your questions in the virtual assistant, following up by phone or email, and, if you subscribe, sending you new blog articles.
• Secondary purpose: measuring how the website is used in order to improve it. You can turn it off in "Cookie Preferences", in the footer of any page, and your quote is handled just the same.

4. Virtual assistant powered by artificial intelligence

The chat on this website is answered by an artificial intelligence assistant, not a person. It replies using the ACERLO information we gave it and, if it does not know something, offers to have someone from our team follow up. It can make mistakes: prices, stock, and delivery times are confirmed by our sales team in your quote.

To reply to you, the text of the conversation is processed by artificial intelligence models from Anthropic (Claude) or OpenAI (GPT), which also prepare a summary for our team when the conversation ends. These providers process it on our behalf and do not use it to train their models. The conversation and any contact details you give us are stored in the customer system of Artisma, the agency that operates this website, so our sales team can contact you. A member of our team may read the conversation and step in to reply.

If you say in the conversation that you want to hurt yourself, the assistant leaves the sales topic, gives you Mexico's Línea de la Vida helpline (800 911 2000, free, 24 hours a day), and offers to have a member of our team write to you.

Using the chat is optional: you can request your quote through the form, by phone, or on WhatsApp without going through the assistant.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. To operate this website we work with providers that process it on our behalf and only to deliver their service: website hosting, delivery of the form to our sales team, the virtual assistant and its artificial intelligence, visit measurement, map, and fonts. Some of them are located in the United States, so your data may leave Mexico in order to provide the service. All information travels encrypted (HTTPS).

We would only share your data with anyone else if a competent authority requires it under the law.

6. Cookies

We use strictly necessary, performance (measurement), and functionality (Google map) cookies. Advertising cookies are not installed today and would only be activated with your permission. You can change your choice at any time from "Cookie Preferences". The details of each cookie are in the cookie policy.

7. Your rights

You may access your data, correct it, delete it, or object to its use (known as ARCO rights under Mexican law), as well as withdraw your consent or limit the use of your data. Email ventas@acerlo.com.mx with the subject line "Privacy", state what you want to do, and attach an official ID so we can confirm it is you. We reply within 20 business days at most.

To unsubscribe from the newsletter or stop being measured, you do not need to write to us: use the link in the email or turn off measurement in "Cookie Preferences".

If we change this notice, we publish the new version on this same page with its month and year of update at the top.
