Currogated plastic that replaces cardboard in damp storage
Currogated plastic holds up in cold rooms and humid storage, because polypropylene does not soak up water. Automotive plants use it to keep auto parts free of scratches and dents, and HVAC plants use it to separate components.
ACERLO stocks it in sheets and rolls, from 2 to 6 mm thick and 350 to 1,300 g/m². The standard sheet measures 4 × 8 ft (48 × 96 in), and the gauge is chosen by product weight.
Our Santa Catarina plant cuts, die-cuts and assembles currogated plastic into dividers, boxes and parts shaped to the product. Returnable dividers go back to the production line trip after trip.
