Economy plastic pallets: where the savings come from
Economy plastic pallets save money through weight and paperwork. A Stiropallet weighs 9.9 lb, while a wood pallet of the same size weighs 33 to 55 lb. In air freight, cost is calculated by weight, so less weight means less freight.

The standard 39.4 × 47.2 in Stiropallet supports up to 4,400 lb static and 1,760 lb dynamic load.
