Fluted plastic in sheet or roll for packaging and coil protection
ACERLO supplies fluted plastic, a corrugated polypropylene, in two formats: sheet and roll. The roll wraps coils of cable, aluminum and steel from 3 to 20 metric tons during transit.
Sheets come in the standard 4 × 8 ft size, with thickness from 2 to 6 mm and grammage from 350 to 1,300 g/m². Cable producers also use the material as a cover for reels.
The material resists abrasion without marking the metal it protects and is reused trip after trip. ACERLO ships fluted plastic to US plants in 5 to 10 days.
