Why a plastic plastic pallet replaces wood on export loads
A plastic plastic pallet from ACERLO is the Stiropallet, thermoformed in EPS at our plant in Santa Catarina, Nuevo León. Its surface is smooth and non-porous, so it has no splinters, nails or pests to inspect before a load leaves.
The standard size measures 39.4 × 47.2 × 5.3 in and weighs 9.9 lb, while a wood pallet of the same size weighs 33 to 55 lb. It holds up to 4,400 lb static and 1,760 lb dynamic load.
Each plastic plastic pallet meets ISPM 15 with no heat treatment, fumigation or stamp, since those rules apply only to wood. To quote, send the product dimensions, monthly quantity and destination, and delivery to the United States takes 5 to 10 days.
