Plastic reusable pallets go back into service after each trip. Stiropallet has a smooth surface with no nails or splinters and does not absorb moisture, so it keeps its weight through the rainy season.
Air freight is priced by weight, and a Stiropallet weighs 9.9 lb against 33 to 55 lb for wood on every trip. The reinforced design carries up to 4,400 lb static and works on racks and in beverage operations.
ACERLO thermoforms the pallets in EPS at its plant near Monterrey. For export, they meet ISPM 15 without fumigation or stamp, and they reach US plants in 5 to 10 days.

Do plastic reusable pallets need ISPM 15 treatment?
